Marrow did something to me that I can’t explain in the best way possible. There are books that linger and then there are books that get engraved into your bones that stick with you forever. The pages of this book are engraved and etched into me now.

The writing in here is so eloquently beautiful that it just tugs at parts of my brain in a way that makes me blush. I’m a sucker for a beautifully written story. I just can’t help it. It excites me.

Call me as unhinged as the main characters but the way I was drawn to our FMC Kyrie’s violent inner monologue was like reading my own frustrated thoughts. I mean can you blame a girl when you have an ungrateful man who thinks you're beneath him. I don’t think so. So why not plot his suffering in your mind.

I mean what is a wildlife biologist to do if not create the perfect setting to watch and trap her prey. Jack, the forensic anthropologist who lives in the dark, does not like when others step into his territory. Jack's resistance to Kyrie has and Kyrie’s mission to annoy and torment Jack is hilarious. Poor Jack, I don't think he ever notices when his annoyance turns into intrigue.

The revelation of how they are connected was so expertly and beautifully played out in the story. It was everything.

Getting a look into Jack’s feelings when they describe his first kill is as if you are right along with him. It made me fall for his character even further.

The story just sucks you in and never lets you leave. Ugh I just want to be wrapped up in these pages.
