What do our contributions look like?

    Who are we giving back to?

    Literacy-focused non-profits across the world. Our guests will be able to pick the non-profit.

    How much of the proceeds will be donated?

    50% of all proceeds will be donated to the charity of our guest’s choice. If our guest decides to donate their portion as well, L.A. will match that donation and turn over 100% of all proceeds to the non-profit of choice!

    Why are we giving back?

    Giving back and uplifting the reading community as a whole has been a major practice of Library of Angels. What better way to circle back to our roots, than by starting this philanthropic initiative?

    What will be sold to fundraise?

    We will be making merch centering our guests’s podcast episode. Funny quotes, character art, and even maybe a service provider’s unique design! Depends on our guest and our episode!

    Will we do this every week?

    Every. Single. Week. This is a really exciting journey for us to embark on. If Season 1: The Persephone Arc proves to be successful for this initiative — we will continue it!

    How do we hope this impacts the community?

    While we know financial contributions to important causes are not always feasible, we hope that this initiative encourages our peers - other bookish podcasts, service providers, book boxes, merch companies, authors, and even readers to develop their own philanthropic initiatives! Giving back is not one size-fits-all and we certainly can’t wait to see how inspired and creative our community gets!
