You know when you start a book with the intention of reading a few chapters before going to bed. Then the next thing you know, it's 5am the next day, you're 80% into the book, and it seems silly not to finish? Yeah, this is in fact that kind of book.

This book follows Zachary, a college athlete who is at the top of his game, is dating the most popular girl in school, and has an awesome group of friends who love to party. What more could he really ask for?

Well you knew this was coming, enter Arkin

Zach still lives at home and when his parents drop the bomb that a complete stranger will be moving into the house for a while, staying in his room and attending his College. Let’s just say he wasn’t super thrilled.

This book was pure chaos. It was slightly toxic, filthy, and heart tugging and I ate it the… excuse my French… fuck up!! The way I lovedddddddd Arkin. Think sweet but tortured soul. He has been dealt some of the worst cards in life and truly is just trying to live while keeping himself protected. His past took his voice, but he’s slowly finding he doesn’t want to be afraid anymore. He wants things out of life, and he is willing to do a whole damn lot to make sure he gets what he wants.

One of the things he wants - Zach

Now, this man had me wanting to tap his head to knock some sense into him at some points. His world was turned upside down when Arkin moved in and he finds himself dealing with an internal battle of what he thinks he should want and what he actually wants. Let’s just say once he jumps on the love train he jumps on with his whole heart and damn it I was swooning!

Their chemistry was explosive and all consuming. I don’t want to say they always brought out the best in one another, but they were exactly what each other needed. The way they loved each other was chaotic and beautiful.

I don’t know how this book managed to have so many spicy scenes while also tugging at my damn heart, but Harleigh you freaking outdid yourself!

Also, when I say it was spicy I mean it was freaking SPICY!! Like probably 80% of the book had spice and yes, I do in fact believe that is the perfect amount! If you like a little sharing, you’ll definitely like this!

I do recommend checking your triggers, but if you were considering reading this, let this be your sign! It’s a quick read and once you start, you won’t want to put it down!
