First and foremost, you know your girl LOVES a great bully romance. Add in academia? BET. It’s dark, it’s why choose, secret society, step brother, forced proximity and even multi POVs. 

I was sold the second I saw the trigger list. 

**BUT WITH THAT IN MIND, IF YOU WANT TO READ IT — PLEASE CHECK ALL WARNINGS**

The book itself is filled with twists and turns (it’s a wild ride so buckle up!) - you get banter, you get sassiness, and you got the boys who, let’s be honest, nicknamed her appropriately. The spice? Oooof. Yes please. 

Now, I will warn you - this book does leave you on one hell of a cliff. But so worth it, cause I know the next one? OH BOY. It’s going to be even better. 

And nooooo. Just because it ends on a cliff doesn’t mean I’m going to spoil anything. That’s just not my style. But I can say, no matter the genre CJ writes, I will read it. And this book showed me just how dark my girls mind could go and I am here for it!

I rate it a 5 star for sure. 

And yes, not even the angst lowered the rating for me. (Cause we all know secretly, I love angst!)
